Step 2: Understand what Trade Cycles does
Trade Cycles helps you spot recurring price patterns in the market and combines them with key indicators to forecast potential market shifts.
To search for any ticker, enter the ticker symbol or company name in the “Search for Ticker” field on the upper right of your program site.

The site directs you to the Asset Details page.
The Trade Cycle indicators and features are organized under the Annual Pattern, Statistics, and Cycles tabs on the upper left of the Trade Cycles tab.

The graph highlights periods of likely gains (green with an up arrow) and potential declines (red with a down arrow, if available).
The dark blue line shows the current stock price, with a vertical marker for today’s date. The lighter teal line represents the seasonal trend, providing historical context but not a guarantee of future prices.
To learn more about seasonality, click here.
While Seasonality highlights date ranges with high-probability average returns, Cycles help anticipate potential market or stock turning points.

Charts mark peaks in orange (turning down) and valleys in blue (turning up). This helps you identify whether a security is near a top or bottom and forecast future turning points months or even years ahead.
You may also view different time cycles within the composite cycle — shorter-term traders can focus on the short-term cycle for more immediate peaks and valleys.
