Step 1: Import Your Brokerage Account.

Step 2: Review Your Money Movers Center Console.

Money Movers helps you see where big players, like institutions and insiders, are putting their money using tools and indicators like Institutional and Insider Activity, On-Balance Volume, Smart Money Index, and Money Flow Index.

To access your Money Movers Dashboard, go to the Money Movers tab in your Invest page.

Your Money Movers Dashboard displays the smart money indicators data so you can easily pinpoint the top money movers.

At the top left, you will see the top money-moving sectors.    

The vertical bars show the percentage of each ETF’s underlying components moving up and down: green bars indicate the percentage of underlying components moving up, and red bars indicate the percentage of underlying ETF components moving down.   

To the right, you will see the top stocks moving up and down.

Step 3: Learn how to research a ticker.

You can search for any ticker in the “Search for Ticker” field in the upper right of your site.

The site directs you to the Asset Details page, where you can research its technicals, fundamentals, statistical data, chart, and more.

To view the Money Movers Signals and recent institutional and insider activity, go to the Owners tab.

The Money Movers score is compiled from insider and institutional buying and selling, as well as Smart Money Signals.

Step 4: Scan for Smart Money opportunities.

The Screener tool can help you filter through thousands of stocks based on the criteria most important to you.

To access the Screener tool, go to the Invest page.

You will see numerous category filters. For example, you can incorporate your favorite TradeSmith indicators, watchlist baskets, newsletters, and Money Movers Score.

• -80 to -100 = Strong Sell
• -26 to -79 = Sell
• -25 to 25 = Neutral
• 26 to 79 = Buy
• 80 to 100 = Strong Buy

You can add additional filters by clicking the Add Filter button.

Additional Money Movers filters include:

• Insider Transactions: Buying and selling activity by company insiders.
• Institutional Ownership: Percentage of stock held by institutions.
• Mutual Fund Ownership: Percentage of stock owned by mutual funds.

To save your preset filters, click the Save button and select “Save as New” from the drop-down menu.

Step 5: Monitor your TradeSmith Baskets.

The Baskets page helps you create watchlists on assets you are monitoring based on your investment strategies.

The Baskets page is organized into two categories: My Baskets (baskets you create) and TradeSmith Baskets (baskets created by the TradeSmith team).

The TradeSmith baskets dedicated to Money Movers are Money Movers Up and Money Movers Down.

When you click a basket, you can review pertinent information about the ticker, including the TradeSmith indicators and other performance metrics.
