Let's briefly review the following filters:
- Trading Day: allows you to narrow your scope according to certain days of the week or select "All week" days.
- Earnings Score: a proprietary score indicating the bullish or bearish view of a company's earnings reaction. Scores range from -100 to +100, with negative numbers indicating a bearish signal and positive numbers indicating a bullish signal. The larger the number, the stronger the indication. It takes into account the values of Demand Growth and Happiness Growth, as well as how predictive those metrics have been in the past.
- Demand Growth: represents the change in demand versus what the expected change in demand was. This metric uses a variety of inputs to determine demand, including but not limited to: social media mention volume and Purchase Intent volume, website visits, duration, search market share, demographics, and macro trends that support or hinder demand.
- Happiness Growth: measures the ratio between happy customers and all customers with an opinion. Inputs include: positive and negative social media brand mentions, website bounce rate, visit duration, and brand-specific sentiment indicators.
- Investor Strategy: describes a strategy for investors who are long on the stock going into earnings and looking to optimize their position. The investor strategy is determined by an algorithm that considers the Earnings Score, the Expected Move, and the last four earnings moves.
- Trader Strategy: describes the strategy for traders looking to make a short-term trade on this earnings report. The trader strategy is determined by an algorithm that considers the Earnings Score, the Expected Move, and the last four earnings moves.
- Historical Performance Rank: tells you how well the system's signals have worked for each stock. Each stock is ranked on a 0-10 scale based on how predictive its historical data has been.
- Price Prediction Accuracy: assesses the trade type and determines whether the price stayed in the expected range.
- Direction Accuracy: Did it move the right way? This filter allows you to select "more than," "between," or "less than" percentage.
- Win Rate: the percentage of trades that end up profitable.
- Average Gain: the average profit earned on the winning trades.
Once your filters are in place, hit the Apply Filters button.
The Dashboard below displays the results according to your selected filters. You will see key data, including the trading day, earnings score, and proprietary metrics (demand & happiness growth, etc.).
