Hi everyone! Kristin Magenst here. I am your Product Education Specialist. Thank you for joining me for this quick tutorial on the TradeSmith Baskets available with your subscription.   

A basket is a watchlist, and you know watchlists are important when investing because they will help you stay organized and informed about the stocks, ETFs, or other assets you are monitoring.  

Let's take a look together. 

To access your baskets, go to the Baskets page at the top of your platform's navigational header.    

On the Baskets page, you will see two sections: 

• My Baskets: This section contains any custom baskets you’ve created. 
• TradeSmith Baskets: This section includes pre-built baskets such as Markets, Most Searched Cryptos and Stocks, and the Predictive Alpha Prime baskets. 

We will get to the Predictive Alpha Prime basket in just a moment. 

This page shows the number of tickers within each basket, health distribution, and trend allocation. If you include any notes, you will see them within the Notes column. 

Please remember that you can ONLY edit the baskets you created under My Baskets.  

To edit or delete your basket, click the blue drop-down triangle: 

When you check the white boxes to the left of each basket, you will notice a menu at the bottom of your screen with the choice to delete the selected baskets and run the Screener tool. 

To create a new basket, click the Add Basket button at the top left of the page.  

If you have a spreadsheet of assets you want to add to a basket, click the Import from CSV button. 

Creating a basket is simple. You will start by naming your basket at the top of the page. 

Below, you will add your tickers to your basket. You can also automate your basket by adding sources. For example, you can add your favorite newsletter recommendations and saved screeners. 

When finished, hit the Save button below. 

Let’s review the Predictive Alpha Prime basket.  

These basket tickers include over 4k U.S. NYSE and Nasdaq common stocks and ETFs.

Note: The Predictive Alpha Prime basket currently includes over 2k securities.

They are sorted daily based on their expectations of what the stocks will do over the next 21 trading days. We filter out stocks with a Volatility Quotient of 70% or greater, or null VQ (not enough historical data), and the latest close prices under $2. 

The Notes column to the far right will include the one-month projected returns for each ticker. You can sort any column header alphabetically or numerically.
