Harmonic Trade Cycles Signals

Your Harmonic Trade Cycles Signals widget on the Dashboard is your go-to tool for tracking key Trade Cycles elements: peaks and valleys, the Relative Strength Index (RSI), and seasonality.

With just a glance, you can see how these factors align.

To access the Harmonic Trade Cycles Signals widget, go to your Dashboard at the top navigational header. Please note that this widget is available to Trade Cycles by TradeSmith and Platinum accounts.

The widget defaults to reviewing the last 15 years of price data. If the stock has less than 15 years of trading data, it will default to its trading history in years.

The information above the graph provides a bullish or bearish signal when the peak or valley, RSI reading, and seasonality pattern all align.

You will also see the Seasonality section, which includes the security's Optimal Accuracy Rate, Current RSI (14), Optimal RSI (14), and Cycles turn area date range.

Let's zoom in to get a closer look at Alexandria REIT (ARE).

Ticker ARE gets a Bullish Harmonic Trade Cycles signal because it lines up with a high probability seasonality pattern (86% accuracy rate), a valley bottom turn area (prices projected to move higher), and the RSI is below 30.

Note: The seasonal pattern itself does not need to be optimal, nor does it need to qualify as a Seasonal Synergy pattern. Seasonal Synergy is identified solely by the asset meeting the Optimal RSI condition.

To the right of the Trade Cycles tab are the Top Bullish and Top Bearish tabs.

Top Bullish Harmonic Trade Cycles look for bullish stocks or indexes that meet these three conditions:

  • In a valley or upcoming valley (project prices will move up).
  • A high-conviction positive seasonality window is coming up within the next 30 days.
  • An RSI reading below 30 signals that the security is oversold.

Top Bearish Harmonic Trade Cycles look for bearish stocks or indexes that meet these three conditions:

  • In a Cycle Peak or an upcoming Peak (project prices will move down).
  • A high-conviction negative seasonality window within the next 30 days.
  • An RSI reading above 70 signals that the security is overbought.

One important note: Trade Cycle analysis does NOT factor in a stock’s health status, trend, or other TradeSmith indicators. However, as mentioned earlier, you can integrate these elements into your overall market strategy for a more complete picture.
