TradeSmith’s mobile app keeps you connected to your portfolio with push notifications for alerts and important updates—helping you stay informed and on top of your positions wherever you are.

Please follow the steps below to download our mobile app on an iPhone.

Step 1: Locate the App Store on your device.

Step 2: Tap the search icon (bottom right), and within the search field, enter: “TradeSmith.”

Look for the TradeSmith logo.

For an iPhone, tap the "cloud" icon with a downward-pointing arrow to download the app.

Step 3: Tap “Open,” and you will be directed to the TradeSmith Dashboard.

Once on the Dashboard, select the “More” (the three-dot icon) in the lower right-hand corner.

The More page lets you enable push notifications from your program settings. But before you can access your program settings, you must log in.

Enter the email address and password associated with your TradeSmith Finance account. You may receive an initial prompt asking whether you would like TradeSmith to send you notifications. Click "Allow" to enable this feature.

Push notifications are clickable pop-up messages that appear on your mobile device. They will prompt you when you have triggered alerts and/or received other notifications from your TradeSmith program.

To view your push notifications and notifications settings, go to the Settings page.

Step 4: Go to Settings. 

You will see several menu options to adjust your email preferences, alert preferences (separate from push notifications), set a face ID/passcode, and other settings.

Step 5: Select “Push Notifications.”

Please ensure the "Allow Push Notification" toggle feature is turned on. You will see additional push notification features, including My Notifications, Marketing Notifications, TradeSmith Events, Newsletters, and Alerts.

If you don't want to receive promotional offers for new products, ensure the "Marketing Notifications" toggle feature is turned off.

"TradeSmith Events" can be helpful as you will receive push notifications regarding training webinars, for example.

Under Notification Settings, you can choose to receive individual notifications or consolidated notifications.

• Individual Notifications: Each notification email will be sent separately.
• Consolidated Notifications: System-generated notifications issued throughout the day are compiled into a single report.

Let’s review the Consolidated Notifications menu:

• Single Notification: Alerts will be consolidated into a single notification after we have received all close prices from our data providers.
• Grouped Notifications: Alerts are sent after each delivery of closing prices from our data providers. This normally occurs four times a day, depending on the region.
