The Scenario feature in Options360 lets you evaluate a potential options trade by estimating how the trade may perform if the underlying asset's price moves up or down by a specified percentage before a selected date.
There are two ways to access the Scenario feature. The first way is to go to the Options360 page in the top header and select the Calculator tab. Then select the Scenario subtab.

Review the Market Data
After running the scenario, Options360 displays current market information for the selected option contract, including:
- Latest price
- Bid and ask prices
- Bid/ask spread
- Implied volatility (IV)
- Implied Volatility Rank (IV Rank)
- Implied Volatility Percentile (IV Percentile)
- Trading volume
- Open interest
- Days until expiration
This information provides additional context about the option's pricing, liquidity, and current market conditions.
Analyze the Profit/Loss Curve
The Profit/Loss Curve illustrates the projected profit or loss for your option position based on different price movements of the underlying asset.
The chart includes helpful reference markers such as:
- Current Price – The current market price of the underlying asset.
- Breakeven Price – The price at which the trade is expected to neither gain nor lose money.
Each point along the curve represents a different percentage move in the underlying asset, allowing you to quickly visualize how the option's value may change under various market scenarios.

Review the Scenario Table
Below the chart, the Scenario table summarizes the projected outcome for each price movement.
For every scenario, you'll see:
- The projected percentage move of the underlying asset.
- The estimated underlying asset price.
- The projected option profit or loss.
This table provides a quick way to compare multiple outcomes side by side without having to interpret the chart alone.
Note: Scenario results are estimates based on the selected assumptions and current market data. Actual option prices may differ as market conditions, implied volatility, and time to expiration change.
The second way to access the Scenario tab is from the Asset Details or Position Card pages.
To see the Scenario tab, you must select an options trade from any of your portfolios, baskets, Options360 opportunities, or any other site feature that allows you to click on a potential options trade.
