To add options in simple mode, click the Add Position button from the Positions sub-tab.

Note: You can not manually add options to a synchronized portfolio.  We will receive the purchased option through the synchronization process.

  • Under Asset Type, select Option (2).
  • Enter the ticker for the Underlying Asset (3).
  • Enter the expiration date for the option (4).
  • Enter the strike price (5).
  • Select the option type, call or put (6).
  • Enter the date that you purchased the option (7).
  • The buy price (8) will automatically fill in with the close price from the date of purchase. Please feel free to edit this field if you need to.
  • Under quantity, enter the number of contracts (9) purchased.
  • Under Position Type (10), selecting long will signify a buy, and short will signify a sell.
