At the top of the page, you can select your “Display as of” date and view (Tile or List).

The Fear & Greed Score

Investors are driven by two emotions: fear and greed. Too much fear can sink stocks well below where they should be. When investors get greedy, they can bid up stock prices way too far.

The Fear & Greed Score gives us a gauge of investor sentiment. You can click the "Detailed Overview" link to learn more about the indicators used to determine the overall sentiment.

The Tile View

Image as of Apr. 29, 2026.

The Tile View offers a concise snapshot of how the market is performing. In addition to displaying the latest price and daily percentage change, each tile includes:

  • Health Distribution (Short-Term and Long-Term) – a breakdown of the percentage of underlying assets in the Green, Yellow, or Red State, indicating overall market strength or weakness.
  • 52-Week Price Range – helping you contextualize current pricing within its annual performance.
  • One-Day Price Chart – a visual representation of intraday movement.

At the top-right corner of each tile, you’ll also find the market’s Bull or Bear Market Signal. These indicators reflect whether the market is performing well based on its current health status and distribution.

The goal is to identify and invest in strong-performing markets—those with a Bull Market Signal and a high percentage of assets in the Green State. Conversely, when a majority of underlying assets are in the Red State, it often signals market weakness and can drag down overall performance.

The List View

The List View offers a high-level overview of all tracked markets, allowing you to quickly assess performance and conditions across the board. Each row provides key metrics, including:

  • Health Status  (ST and LT)– The market’s current condition.
  • Health Distribution (ST and LT) – The percentage of underlying assets in the Green, Yellow, or Red State.
  • Risk Level – Our proprietary risk metric.
  • 52-Week Price Range – Contextualizing current prices within their annual highs and lows.
  • Latest Close & Latest Price – For tracking recent movement.
  • Daily Gains or Losses – Showing short-term performance.
  • 2-Week Price Line – A visual trend line for quick momentum analysis.

One of the most powerful features of the List View is the “View Components” link available in each market’s dropdown menu.

Clicking this link takes you directly to the Screener Tool, where you can explore the underlying stocks within that market.

The Screener tool allows you to refine your search using your preferred TradeSmith indicators and other technical and fundamental indicators, helping you identify high-potential opportunities with precision.

If you click the market’s name, you can see more details about the market.

Within each Market Window, you’ll find a dynamic chart that can be adjusted to your preferred time frame, allowing for flexible analysis.

At the top of the window, key market metrics are displayed, including:

  • Health Distribution (ST and LT) – the percentage of underlying assets currently in the Green, Yellow, or Red State, offering a quick snapshot of overall market strength.
  • Stock Rating Distribution – a breakdown of how underlying components are rated: Bullish, Bearish, or Neutral.
  • Trend Distribution – an overview of prevailing price trends across the market’s components.

If you click the index ticker in the "Tile" view, you are routed to the Holdings tab of the Asset Details page, which displays a different graph and shows the index's underlying assets.
