Imagine having a robust market calendar at your fingertips—one that tracks upcoming corporate actions like dividends and earnings, while helping you identify potential entry points using cycle and seasonality patterns.
Let’s head to the TradeSmith Finance website for a closer look.
To access your calendars, go to the Calendar page at the top navigational header. From there, you will see tabs for your Market and Trade Cycles Calendars.

Let’s start with the Market Calendar.
At the top of the page, you will see a weekly or monthly view of upcoming corporate events for U.S. stocks.
The Filters button at the top left allows you to refine your parameters.
For example, under "Source Type," you can choose from a country of exchange, active newsletters, baskets, or your model portfolios.
By default, all corporate events are selected; however, you can refine your search based on specific corporate actions under the "Events" filter.
If you make any changes, don’t forget to hit the Apply Filters button.
Next up is the Trade Cycles Calendar.
The Trade Cycles Calendar provides a 3-month or 6-month overview for your newsletters, model portfolios, and baskets. The drop-down menu allows you to select multiple sources.
You can also add individual securities to display their seasonal patterns or cycles.

After selecting your source, you can view the Seasonality, Cycles, or All tabs. The Filters button also allows you to refine your calendar view. The “Display Entry Dates” toggle lets you show the entry dates for your sources.

When looking at “All,” you will see the cycle peaks (tops) in orange and cycle valleys (bottoms) in blue. Seasonality with a positive average return for the pattern will be displayed in green, and negative average return patterns will be displayed in red. You can hover your mouse over any pattern or cycle to get more information.

Optimal seasonal patterns are identified with a green square icon with an “O” (for optimal).
For example, there are optimal patterns for Broadcom (AVGO) and CBOE Global Markets Inc. (CBOE).

At the start of the Aug. 3 seasonality window for CBOE, a stock qualifies for Seasonal Synergy if its RSI is below 49.
Until then, it will be labeled as a “Potential Entry” with a white “E” bubble.
