Actions and Controls
Just below, you’ll find tools to help you manage your alerts:
- Add Alert – Click the green Add Alert button to create new position alerts.
- Grouping & Filtering – Use the toggle buttons to group alerts by position or to show only triggered alerts.
When you choose to group by position, the layout adjusts to display each individual position along with all alerts you’ve set for it.

As shown in our example above, we have two alerts assigned to Carpenter Technology (CRS) and Rithm Capital REIT (RITM). Both alerts are grouped into one section for each position.
Grouping alerts can make it easier to visualize all the alerts for your positions.
🔔Note: A purple bell indicates that the alert has been triggered.
Let’s look at an ungrouped view of alerts and review the columns you will see.

If you click the white boxes (1) to the left of the ticker symbols, an option at the bottom of the screen will let you delete the alert.

The blue drop-down arrow (2) to the right of the white box allows you to edit or delete the alert.

The Status column (3) indicates whether the alert has been triggered. If the bell is white, the alert hasn’t been triggered. If the bell is purple, the alert has been triggered.
The Ticker (4) column displays a separate alert for the same position, so don't get confused. If you have more than one alert assigned to the same position, you will see the same ticker listed for each alert.
Next up are our proprietary indicators.
The Health Indicator Short-Term and Long-Term (5) provides the health status.
To learn more about the Health Indicator, click here.
The Risk or Volatility Quotient (VQ) (6) tells you how risky your positions are.
- Up to 15% = Low Risk
- 15% to 30% = Medium Risk
- 30% to 50% = High Risk
- Above 50% = Sky-High Risk
The Alert State (7) column indicates the state of the alert. When reading the alert state, start with the latest close price.
Let’s look at ticker RITM, which has a VQ% Trailing Stop:
“The latest close price of $9.27 is 8.94% below the highest close price of $10.18 on 04/15/2026."
Next is the Trigger Price column (8), which is the price the position must hit to trigger your alert.
Note: Alerts such as VQ% and percentage trailing stops will indicate the trigger price. If the alert does not have a trigger price, it will display "N/A."
The Alert Description column (9) tells you the name of the assigned alert, and the Latest Close (10) displays the latest close price for each ticker.
The Days Triggered column (11) indicates the number of consecutive days the alert was triggered, and you can add any notes in the Notes column (12) to help you track your alerts.
If you want to review alerts for a particular ticker, you can enter the ticker in the Search field (13).

You can customize the Alerts page to fit your preferences by adjusting the column headers and views.

- Edit a View – To modify the Default or active view, click the white pencil icon.
- Rearrange Columns – Click and drag the gray column headers to reorder them into your preferred layout.
- Create a New View – To set up a fresh layout, click the drop-down triangle and select “Add View.”
This flexibility lets you organize the Alerts page in a way that works best for you.
