TradeSmith Value vs. Brokerage Value
What is the difference between the TradeSmith and brokerage value?
The broker uses live data, which can also vary from broker to broker. You may also be tracking securities that we do not support.
For example, we do not support bonds. These securities would be reflected within the brokerage value, not the TradeSmith value.
A couple more factors may cause the values to vary. If the positions you sold at the broker have not yet been detected as sold positions, we will still include these position values in the TradeSmith Value.
If you have a margin account, this could also result in a discrepancy in the values.
